I am a stay-at-home-mom with four children - three boys and a baby girl. I volunteer with MOPS (Moms of Pre-Schoolers). My husband works in the city. Our kids like football, basketball, baseball, swimming, going to the park, arts and crafts and reading.

My oldest two are boys with afterschool and evening sports, a daily dogwalking gig, and a serious video game addiction. My ideal sitter builds a good rapport with them to ensure the homework is done before the Xbox or smartphone games go on. They're pretty easy otherwise. My daughter is 7 and as such needs the most supervision--she loves to draw and play, has dance class once a week, and also needs some help getting homework finished of course.
Sitters generally report that my kids are nice and easy. (They're nicer to you than me, apparently.)

I provide grants to intl human rights groups (work in NYC) and my husband is an architect in NJ. We have two active and awesome kids, a girl and a boy, who love sports and music. Mom travels internationally for work, which is exciting, but tough to juggle.

Ben and I got married almost two years ago back home in Washington state. We met in Portland, Oregon and started our journey together by moving to Boston, MA for Ben's work, while I continued my work there as a massage therapist. After a couple of years, Ben's job has taken him to Manhattan, where we decided to settle down for a while and buy a house in New Jersey. We miss our friends and family back home, but are enjoying this time together with our daughter, Harper, who was born on March 1st. As a family we enjoy traveling, going on day trips to the beach, and entertaining friends in our new house. We also have a little furry friend, a two year old cat named keekee, who is a Maine Coon. She is sweet, but pretty shy around strangers.

In our very rare free-time, now that we have an infant, Ben enjoys golfing and I enjoy practicing yoga. We are fun and genuinely friendly people, who are just searching for a little bit of help with our new addition. Harper is sweet, and beginning to be quite the social butterfly. She's snuggly, loves to be held, and loves to really play and interact with whoever is hanging out with her.

I am a resident of South Orange, NJ and work full-time in Manhattan and need to hire a sitter for 4-5 week days per week starting in late August/early September to watch my two boys from 230-730 (approx.) each day. Some driving would be required to pick them up from school and drive them to a few after school activities. Though I specified a preference for a male sitter I am willing to interview both males and females for the position.

We are pretty laid back parents, trying to survive parenthood! We both work, and work hard, but always try to be there for our kids. We don't obsess over little things, but try hard to get the big things right!

Our twins (boy/girl) are turning 9 on August 7, 2016 and will be going into 4th grade. They are generally really great kids who listen well, though no guarantee that every day will be a picnic ? After school routine usually involves preparing an easy snack or small meal for them, helping them get homework done (though they get more and more independent every year) and getting them outside to play and burn off some energy after school!

We are very easy going, but very busy! Mornings are hectic, so we would need someone who can keep the kids moving, but who also has lots of patience and a great sense of humor.
