Our town just went to full remote learning so looking for an awesome sitter for my boys. Would mostly be helping my 8 year old son while he navigates online learning, ie helping him stay on schedule, submit assignments, print work, as well as take him to the park, and some light housekeeping (e.g empty dishwasher, fold a load of kids clothes, etc). Would also need help with lunch and snacks for kids. 14 yr old is pretty independent but may need some help here and there. This is a great job for a student doing online asynchronous classes or taking a year off. References, resume, and background check required. Looking for 20-30 hrs a week.
I have a 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter. They are happy easy going kids. We moved to Maplewood in September and are happy to be here. COVID has put life on hold for us (and everyone). We are COVID cautious. I have been working from home since March and so has my husband.
We live in West Orange and are the parents of 2 bundles of joyful energy ages 2 and 5! Our children love to laugh, entertain, make music and use their imaginations. My son is starting kindergarten in the fall and my daughter will spend her day at her babysitter, so we are looking for someone to get their days off to a great start - feed them breakfast, get dressed and ready, walk my son to the bus stop and drop my daughter off at her sitter.
In search of a sitter for my sweet, independent daughters, ages 6 and 10. We are looking for sitter(s) available weekdays between 7am until 5pm to help us manage the new hybrid learning experience. We are willing to work with multiple sitters so if your schedule only allows for certain days/times, please still reach out. Responsibilities would include helping them get ready in the morning, fixing snacks and meals, meeting them at school/bus stop (both are on our corner,) doing school work & homework, and hanging out with them until someone gets home. We are located very close to Seton Hall, and both girls are a lot of fun. Let us know if you are interested!
Full time working parents of three boys, ages 8, 6, and 20 months. Our middle son has special needs and attends a therapeutic school. Our older son is going to be in 3rd in September and is extremely enthusiastic about life. He will be doing remote learning. Our youngest is 20 months old and loves to play. We are looking for a fun loving, energetic sitter to come and play and have a great time! We need someone Monday and Thursday, 8AM - 3PM. Currently, it would just be the oldest and youngest, but the middle may end up home too if schools close again.
Our family is fun, loving and kind. We strive to keep our son intellectually challenged and provide physical exercise. We are in a co-parenting schedule, therefore, I will only need a part-time babysitter. During the pandemic it has been challenging providing social connections with his classmates, but we have used zoom for virtual playdates, karate classes and other forms of activities. Once school begins I would like help with someone to ensure we keep to a consistent routine, so that by the time the babysitter leaves, our son is ready to begin his nighttime routine. We are not sure what the school schedule will be at this time and therefore cannot specify the exact 3 days of the week that will be needed. We also have a cat, that we love very much.
My husband and I are both currently working part time. I work for a small private school in their business office, and my husband does health policy work. We have two kids, a daughter who is 6 years old and a son who is 4 years old. They are very energetic and active kids who love to play outside, ride bikes. They also enjoy drawing, coloring and doing art projects.
We are a family of five living in South Orange. Margie (mom) is originally from Philadelphia and works as an elementary teacher in Hudson County. She leaves early for work each day. Denis (dad) is originally from Ireland and works as an accountant in Newark. We have twin boys who are 12 years old & a 10 year old daughter. We enjoy spending many weekends and summers at our vacation home in the Poconos. We are looking for a student 1 hour each morning (from 6:15-7:15am). The school bus picks up the children at 7:15am across the street from our house. The bus drops the children home by 3:30pm. We need someone at 3:30pm for a few hours to help with homework. The children have after school activities, but homework is the first priority. The boys play flag football in the fall. All three children play basketball in the winter. We have a piano teacher come to our house once a week. Maggie enjoys sewing and takes weekly classes in South Orange.
The children attend St. Rose of Lima Academy located in Short Hills.
