This past summer I worked at a sleep away camp for 8 weeks. I specifically cared for a bunk of 10 year olds, and then a bunk of 13 year olds, but through my work as a drama specialist, I taught kids ages 6-15. Previous babysitting: ages 4-12.

I love music and theater. I'm also big into activism, especially on the topic of universal equality.

I love the way spending children allows me to be a child all over again. I love being silly. I also love the feeling of responsibility and accomplishment caring for children gives me.

I was a summer camp counselor at the local JCC for two consecutive summers. I also helped babysit my two nephews, who are now 20 and 14 months old, from the time they were born until recently. I also currently babysit two boys, 8&9 years old.

I enjoy any/all outside activities. I love playing sports and staying active. I love volunteer work.

My favorite part of working with children is getting to create a relationship with them and watch them grow. There is nothing more special to me than gaining a child's trust and having a bond with them.

During my freshmen year of high school I was an assistant at the South mountain YMCA, I also worked for them during the summer of 2013 as a Junior Camp Counselor and during the 2013-2014 school year in one of their afters school programs.

One of my favorite things about working with children which is by far the most rewarding is being able to leave a positive impact on their lives, whether its teaching them something new or helping them to progress in different areas.
